There are men and Gentlemen and there is A TRUE MAN THAT embodies ALL OF BOTH. IN AGE OF Special effects and CGI and fire works films, John Wayne didn't need any of them. He had All this in his DNA as standard. Something you just dont see in only very rare of few today. But even then theres only ever 1 john Wayne.watching you Never grows old.

Wow, 1955. I never heard of him until the mid to late 70's. Everyone loved Monty Python and we were hungry for anything British. I remember sitting at the kitchen table and watching his color reruns with my father like every night for years.

The stigma surrounding unsanctioned chemical usage is what kills people. Junkie= non-human. It is absolutely appalling how we treat each other once we decide someone is no longer worthy of our empathy. One day (if humanity makes it) they will look upon this dark age for what it is. All I can say I am so sorry, for all this needless pain, misery, and death. No matter how you were raised to feel about drugs, I would not wish that kind of evil on anyone. No one is perfect, and can white knuckle through this life. Some may be blessed enough to do so, but part of being a grown up is realizing that humans come in all colors, creeds, and kinds. Why is that simple fact so hard for so many to get? Why am wasting my breath on a comment. Oh well. There's enough pain and misery in the world guys, no need to pass it around. We all get ours eventually. EVERYONE.

No doubt that he was a truly fine actor. I enjoy his movies. It is a blight on his character that the man was a racist to the true native Americans. He took patriotism too far. but cannot take his acting away from him. A great entertainer.

Oddly, yet thankfully, British Benny Hill has become a welcome addition to Americana here in the states. I loved him as did my Scottish born grandparents. Wonderful memories of watching the Benny Hill show with my grandfather. It was some of the only times you could see that tough, gruff stone face Scottish pondering frown break into a chuckle and smile. " Bloody good, the wee man is bloody damn good, even for an Englishman " He loved Benny and Fawlty Towers. Thanks for the gift Benny, God bless you and rest in peace.

He was a good man, he just pushed it too far. Every time I saw him with a dangerous animal I wondered and worried if one day he would get damaged badly or worse and it eventually happened. You can't expect to deal with dangerous animals up close all your life and not eventually get hurt. It is very sad but he knew the risks that were involved in engaging their wild and dangerous animals up close. This is a case of see on tv but never try in real life because most wild animals are unpredictable in their behave and reactions that's why we call them wild.

The magic of STP was always in the song quality, instrumentation, and chemistry. Dean, Rob, and Eric are elite players and Scott could deliver it like only the greats can. Whenever all four weren't together, something sounded off. About as symbiotic as it gets. To me, they'll always be a special band.

When Parsons met Keith Richards in London, Keith told him about the apartheid system in South Africa, where the Byrds were scheduled to play. Parsons told the Byrds he wasn't going which resulted in him being fired from the band. It later emerged that his decision wasn't as political as it was that he wanted to hang out with the Rolling Stones in London.
